The Mercury Woodworker

Hi, I'm Denis, the Mercury Woodworker. After more than 25 years of service in the Royal Canadian Air Force, I retired and took up Puzzle Designing and Crafting.

My family and I reside in Dunham, a small village tucked into the foothills of the Appalachian mountain range in the province of Québec, Canada. I have a relatively small one-man shop, although one day I hope to add one or both of my children to the designing and crafting side of things… purely if they choose it, of course. No pressure.

Mechanical Puzzles

My intent is to release one or two original designs each year, in very limited production runs (usually in batches of ~20 to no more than 100 total of each design). So far that includes the Mercurius Temple, my first Sequential Discovery puzzle and the opening chapter in the Trials of Mercury trilogy.

A Puzzling Journey

If you’re curious how I got here, check out my blog, where I’ve been documenting my ongoing journey. Brew your favourite hot drink, settle in, and have a read… Cheers!
