the Mercurius Temple

Reservations are now open for the Spring 2026 production run.

The Mercurius Temple is my first Sequential Discovery Puzzle Box, and the opening chapter in The Trials of Mercury trilogy, with more than 25 moves required to fully solve. The second installment, Maximilian’s Monopteros, is expected in mid-2027. The third and final chapter, still unnamed, is anticipated mid-2028 or later.

Inspired by the Roman deity Mercury, known as Hermes in Greek mythology, son of Maia, Messenger of the Gods, and Guide of Souls, The Mercurius Temple invites you to journey through a mysterious temple and uncover its ancient secrets.

Handcrafted from solid Canadian maple hardwood and African padauk. Measures approximately 25 × 25 × 16 cm (9-¾” × 9-¾” × 6-¼”), weighs about 7 lbs (~3 kg).

For those who want a smoother solving experience, an optional swivel base (lazy Susan mechanism) is available for an additional $90 CAD, crafted from premium Canadian maple. The base contains no puzzle mechanics and is not required to solve The Mercurius Temple, it simply makes handling and rotating the puzzle easier during play.

Lifetime production of The Mercurius Temple is limited to 77 total.
